Each piece is specified in consultation — dimensions, frame, fabric or leather, timber, stone, finish — and manufactured only once you have approved the drawing and the fixed quote. How a Commission Works

Four Steps, One Fixed Price.

You are never asked to commit before you have seen a drawing, held the material samples and read a fixed quote.

Consultation

Free, at our Wang Thonglang showroom by appointment or in your home. We talk about the room, how you use it, and the budget.

Site Visit & Measure

Free within Bangkok. We measure the room, the doorways and the lift, so the piece fits the space and the route into it.

Drawings & Quote

Drawings, material samples and a fixed quote, usually within one to two weeks. Nothing is built until you approve.

Build & Install

8–12 weeks for most pieces, up to 14 for complex ones. White-glove delivery and installation across Thailand.

Warranty: 5 years structural, 2 years upholstery.

No minimum order — a single side table is a complete commission. Delivery and installation throughout Thailand; international shipping is available on request.

Why It Costs Less Than Imported

The Factory Is Ours, Not a Supplier's.

Every commission is built by Lasunya, the Samut Prakan atelier that has manufactured furniture since 1982 and has supplied hospitality and developer clients including Banyan Tree, Sansiri, Novotel and Minor Hotels.

Because the studio and the workshop are one business, there is no import duty, no distributor margin and no showroom rent folded into the price. That is how we can quote well below imported European brands for an equivalent specification — and why the price is fixed once the drawing is approved.

Before You Commission Anyone

Questions to Ask Any Bespoke Furniture Maker in Bangkok.

Ask these of us and of anyone else you are considering. A good maker answers all of them plainly.

Who actually builds the piece? Many studios design in Bangkok and subcontract the build. Ask where the workshop is and whether you can visit it.
What is the frame made of, and how is it joined? Kiln-dried hardwood that is glued and pinned behaves very differently in Bangkok's humidity from softwood or particleboard that is stapled.
Is the quote fixed? Find out what can change the price after you approve the drawing — and get it in writing.
What does the warranty cover, and for how long? Structure and upholstery are often covered for different periods. Ask for both.
Has anyone measured the lift and the door? In a condo, the service lift often decides the maximum size of a sofa or a stone top, not the room.
Can I see and handle the materials? Fabric, leather, timber and stone samples should be in your hands before you sign off.
