The Design

Tables in Seoul share one quality: they hold stillness. Whatever is happening around them, a well-made table is certain of its proportions, its surface, its place in the room.

The Gangnam was designed with that quality in mind. A solid top — in natural stone or hardwood — and legs that taper without apology. The joint between top and base is the detail: clean, with no visible hardware, nothing that interrupts the surface.

It is wide enough for a full meal and honest conversation. Long enough to seat eight without crowding. The overhang is calibrated — enough to sit comfortably, not so much that the proportions are lost.

Materials are chosen in consultation: Calacatta marble, Nero Marquina, solid walnut, solid oak. The legs in solid wood or matte black steel. Each combination produces a different table — same design, different character.
