The console is the most honest piece of furniture in a home. It holds what you are about to use, or what you have just put down. It is the first thing you pass when you enter and the last thing you see when you leave.
The Nimman was designed around that idea. A clean surface above — in Calacatta marble, Nero Marquina, solid walnut, or solid oak. A single shelf below, set at a height for books, objects, or nothing at all. A base in solid wood or matte black steel, depending on the character of the room.
The proportions are generous but not dominant. The Nimman is designed to be noticed when guests arrive and forgotten when they sit down — which is exactly right. A piece that serves its room without competing with it.
Length, depth, and material are all specified in consultation. The shelf can be omitted. The base profile can be adjusted. Every order is a single object that exists nowhere until you ask for it.
